Meet Shauntelle + Emma
Who Are We?
Shauntelle & Emma are a mother/daughter team based out of Kelowna, British Columbia, as well as Gold Coast, Australia.
Our love for Paint by Numbers began when we were in quarantine due to Covid-19.
We spent hours together painting, listening to music, drinking wine, and relaxing in each other's company.
We wanted to spread the joy that painting has given us, so we started Måla Paint by Numbers in July of 2020.
Now that Emma lives in Australia, we each run our own sides of the business, but we continue to work together closely to launch new designs, create content for our socials and find new ways to grow our business.

How do we create our Kits?
We use a combination of Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Canva to create our line designs and add in all the numbers.
We use art printers to print the designs onto watercolour cardstock.We import our acrylic paints, but determine the colours we use and occasionally mix our own paints to get the perfect hue, tint or shade.
We fill all the paint pots and number each paint pot by hand. Once everything is ready to go, we assemble and package our kits in 100% colton canvas bags with tie closures.
Each kit comes with 2 paintbrushes and a colour reference card.
